Dr. Register has an extensive corporate business and scientific background, developed over the course of a 30-year career that covers the spectrum from the laboratory bench top to the executive suite.

His career began in 1983 at SIBIA (Salk Institute Biotechnology Industrial Associates), in San Diego California. In 1986, Dr. Register moved to Merck Research Laboratories in West Point, PA where he worked as a scientist managing a molecular genetics laboratory for 17 of his 19 years at Merck. In 2002, he transitioned from the scientific to the corporate ladder in Merck’s sales and marketing division as a medical science liaison.

In 2004, he left Merck to assume a global corporate role at Bayer HealthCare. As one of the five executive members of the Global Analgesics Strategic Business Unit (SBU), he developed and implemented global healthcare professional marketing strategies, managed all international Key Opinion Leaders, established and ran scientific advisory boards, and symposia in the US and Europe for Aspirin and Naproxen (Aleve).

From 2007 to 2011, Dr. Register founded and served as C.E.O. of Trusgen, based in the US and Malaysia. The company focused on outsourcing contract manufacturing of biologics into Asia.

In 2009 Dr. Register became the Executive Director for the non-profit organization Alpha Omega Heart Foundation founded by Dr. John Anderson. Cardiovascular disease is a leading healthcare problem throughout the world. The Alpha Omega Heart Foundation was established to develop teams with expertise in the delivery of Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery to the Global Community. Alpha Omega Heart Foundation performs exchange visits of physicians, resident physicians-in-training, and medical students between the United States and countries selected for the cardiovascular disease project development.

In the course of his career Dr. Register found a passion in establishing relationships with people and building “A-level” teams. Recognizing his passion led him to launch Register Consulting & Executive Search in 2010 with a focus on “Building The Inimitable Team™” in corporations across multiple industries. In 2013 Dr. Register expanded the company’s services and partnered with other seasoned industry partners to offer a full range of services to the Biotech and Healthcare industries. This resulted in company name change to Register Partners.

In January 2017 Dr. Register took the position of Vice President Medical & Educational Business Development at Global Health Care, Inc.

Dr. Register has published in multiple therapeutic areas and presented at national and international meetings on, scientific, management, biologics manufacturing, and human resources topics. He holds a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology and a master’s degree in molecular genetics and microbiology.

With extensive global experience in; research and development, sales and marketing, team building, recruiting, small company startups and Fortune 500 pharmaceutical executive, Dr. Register is an inimitable leader who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Global Health Care.
